Your niche is a reflection of your skills and abilities. In therapy, this is your area of practice, research interests, population served, and/or specialty. This course will help you pull all of this together in a way that promotes your authentic voices, highlights your unique services, and markets you to your target audience for clients or speaking opportunites.

Dr. Debbie is a dynamic professional development expert and award-winning leader in family therapy. She has created and provided over 80 trainings in the field and serves as an Adjunct Professor in Marriage & Family Therapy. She is also a Learning & Development Officer for a county-wide funder where she manages the Brazelton Touchpoints, Infant Mental Health, and Reflective Practice training initiatives for over 3,000 providers within their system of care. For 2019- 2021, Debbie was selected as an AAMFT/SAMHSA MFP national Doctoral Fellow. The AAMFT/SAMHSA MFP stands for the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Minority Fellowship Program (MFP) in partnership with the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). In 2022, she was awarded the Chancellors Award from the NSU Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine for “demonstrating the characteristics of scholarship, leadership, integrity, humanity, and loyalty to the profession of Marriage and Family Therapy”. She is sharing everything that she has learned in the “Empower Your Brand” courses.
